A digital preservation library
Public-domain collections, preserved for the long term.
We rescue public-domain federal collections (early sound recordings, national park soundscapes, deep-ocean video) and mirror them to the Internet Archive so they remain free, permanent, and independent of any single institution.

Our approach
Preservation, provenance, and no surprises.
Every item carries its full chain of custody: the original institutional source URL, the fetch date, a statement of bit-exactness, and the statutory basis on which it is in the public domain. If we did not digitize it, we say exactly who did, and link back to them.
