Privacy

What we collect: nothing.

This site sets no cookies, runs no analytics, embeds no tracking pixels, and loads no third-party scripts. There is nothing here trying to learn who you are.

What the web server records

Like nearly every web server, ours keeps standard access logs (the address requested, the time, and the requesting IP), used only for operational troubleshooting. Logs are not combined with anything else, not profiled, and not shared.

What archive.org records

The search you use on our Browse page queries archive.org directly from your browser, and the audio and video players are served by archive.org's own embed system. Those requests are between you and archive.org under their policies; we never see them, and they are not associated with this site.

How to use this site privately

Because nothing is tracked or profiled here, you need no special measures. If you prefer, every item on this site is also reachable directly on archive.org, where you can download and keep a copy on your own machine, for keeps, with no dependence on anyone's servers staying up, including ours.
